Chop onions, chillies and curry leaves. Add salt to Bengal gram flour and mix well. Mix the chopped ingredients. Add water to the flour to make thick dough like paste. Heat oil in a deep pan. When the oil is hot, add small quantitites of the dough and deep fry till golden brown in colour. It is of irregular shape, soft and crisp.
